2012 Adult Summer Sailing Program

Learn to Sail this year, with our SNCS Adult Sailing Program
Tues / Thurs Lessons	5:30 PM TO 8:30 PM	The first session starts Tuesday June 12 and runs thru July 12. The second session starts July 17 and runs thru August 16.	Structured group lessons in 14-foot sloops following the US Sailing "Start Sailing Right" program. Students must be prepared to study Nevada boating regulations and pass a written test. Each class begins with a class discussion on sailing theory and then proceeds to sailing practice in a boat. Adult Lessons $280 per session, Plus a $50 Membership Course fees cover US Sailing "Start Sailing Right" textbook, Nevada Safe Boating handbook, 30 hours of instruction and sailing, boats and safety gear.

Daysailing	Saturday Daysailing		Opportunity for members who have taken our courses, or passed the Red Book test, to practice their sailing skills. One qualified supervisor will be available for safety and checkouts. Free for members.


			Private lessons are available by special arrangement. $50 per hour for members.
			Prerequisites: Desire to sail; ability to swim 100 yards.
