SNCS
is off to a great season of sailing.
Adult Sailing lessons will begin
June 15th and as you can see from these photos new sailors, as well as
experienced sailors, are having a great time learning and teaching. This
year we are offering Saturday classes and Tuesday/Thursday classes.
We are fortunate to have first rate certified instructors to conduct the
training which will last for 5 weeks.
This year we are proud to continue our Adaptive
Sailing program that will give people with a variety of disabilities a chance to learn the
thrill of sailing. We use three Access 2.3 single-sail dinghies, and one Access 303 dinghy, which introduces students to sailing with a mainsail, and jib. They have a very heavy centerboard, and
will not capsize or sink even if the cockpit fills with water.
